TO MOVE FORWARD
At Lukbo, we bridge the distance between heritage and home. For families gathered around the table, we deliver authentic flavours that evoke memory, comfort, and connection. For our retail partners, we provide the reliability and quality you can confidently build your business on.
We are committed to ethical sourcing that supports the livelihoods of growers across the Pacific and Asia, while protecting the land for future generations. By investing in long-standing relationships, we ensure the tastes of home remain accessible—today and for generations to come.
The name Lukbo, meaning “six treasures,” is a tribute to Eddie Wong, the grandfather of the Lukbo Directors and the founder of the original Lukbo brand.
In the 1940s, Eddie established Lukbo as a range of beverages manufactured by his company, Eddie Hin Limited. For several decades, Eddie Hin Limited was a leading distributor, manufacturer, and retailer of food and beverages in Fiji, until Eddie’s untimely passing in 1992.
Eddie’s legacy extends far beyond the successful business he built. As Mayor of Lautoka City, Fiji, he was a strong advocate for improving outcomes for the local community and played a key role in supporting the settlement of many Chinese migrant families in Fiji. He also served as a Senator in the Fijian Government and was awarded a Member of the British Empire (MBE) on 1 January 1970 in recognition of his service.
Today, Eddie Wong’s legacy continues to inspire the Lukbo family. The values he instilled—decency, service, and excellence—remain at the heart of everything we do.
